Imogen approached my partner (Daniel Formaggio) and I needing headshots to promote her dance practice and also to break into the modelling industry.
During the shoot at Chinamans Beach, we captured some classic headshots, but Daniel and I also had the chance to showcase our creativity, resulting in these remarkable images.
In the left portrait, Imogen's expression exuded a nostalgic and dreamy vibe, which I emphasized during the editing process. By adding motion blur to the background, we drew the audience's focus towards the intricate details of her face. The black and white treatment further enhanced the beautiful highlights and depths of her skin tone.
For the right two images, we used strategically placed lighting sources to bring out the materiality of Imogen's dress while she walked. These photos successfully transformed into stunning fashion imagery that I'm proud to include in my portfolio.
